When do I apply Optrol for EAB?
To get optimal results, Optrol is best used as a preventative treatment. This means you need to treat before you see canopy die-back. We recommend applying the product in the late spring.
What if my tree/garden/lawn is already infested?
If you know you already have an EAB infestation, the best time to apply Optrol is RIGHT NOW (as long as the ground is not water logged or sturated). Continue to apply every year in the spring. Remember, if your tree shows 30% or more canopy die-back, we do not recommend treatment.
